While the game always has safedisc, it seems like there are some versions that
can somehow still run in W10 even though the driver is blacklisted. 

I could also check the "Just for Games" french re-release of Most Wanted, and
it works out of the box there. You still need the disk inserted at all times,
and just "taking a normal ISO" of it is not enough to bypass checks, but
secdrv.sys doesn't seem to get ever loaded. Yet both protectionid and alcohol
reports safedisc v4. 

I don't know how any of this makes sense, but maybe it is the culprit.
