Whether bugs get fixed or even looked at depends on a lot of factors,
including:

* how well the bug is reported,
* the nature of the bug,
* the component at fault,
* whether it can be easily (and freely) reproduced by a developer,
* whether there are obvious causes for the bug,
* the free time of the developer who happens to be looking at the bug at that
moment.

It's unfortunate that some bugs never get attention, but please don't
consequently assume that no bugs ever get attention. If that were the case, no
patches would ever go into Wine.

Not filing a bug is a good way to ensure that a problem will never be fixed.
