I do sometimes encounter the clipping issue but the results are not
deterministic. Most of the time I can't reproduce the issue with/without
f91dd56ccd7ee980e8d867eb872f40f609f485f7 or "Automatically capture the mouse in
full-screen windows", or Virtual Desktop.

Please share some details of your setup. For example, what window manager are
you using? And attach the output of xrandr --verbose is possible.
