To clarify, when testing on Windows, if I change freq of 44100 that is
currently in the test I linked to some other value (say, 46500, chosen
randomly), without changing anything else, I get the buffer length exactly of
465 (freq / 100) and not some combination with mastering volume or with some
other frequency.
