Hello folks,
apparently a patch was committed that provides a stub:
https://source.winehq.org/git/wine.git/commitdiff/20a2094ecd4112313d30904284a0fdf7ccedcfa7
("d3dx11: Add D3DX11GetImageInfoFromFileA/W stub.")
Thanks Andrey
The commit mentions "For Project Cars." but there is no bug report about this
at all.
https://bugs.winehq.org/buglist.cgi?quicksearch=Project%20Cars&list_id=691100
Refining the ticket to make it more generic.
The game now runs into different crash which warrants a new report.
