Hello folks,

it turned out the 4k demoscene demos suffer from a different problem and the
OpenGL calls with no active WGL context (desktop window) was a side effect.

I've created bug 49195 ("Multiple 4k demoscene OpenGL demos crash on startup
(failure to lookup atom 0xC019 'static' from global atom tables)") to track it.
