I have this problem. Installed HOTS through battle.net and Overwatch works fine
installing the same way.

This is the log from console when i open the game and it crash. 
Adding some information: after it crashs my resolution changes from 2560x1080
to 1920x1080 and i have to manually adjust.

Info about the system:
OS: Debian 10
Processor: Core i7 4790
GPU: gtx 970
monitor: 25UM58 - LG
