Confirming, I think. To reproduce this:

1. press "EX" to enter trial mode (you don't need to create an account)
2. wait for the popup window to finish rendering, then close it
3. select the text tool (an icon with "A")
4. select a font other than the default
5. click somewhere on the blank canvas
6. type some letters

The crash site seems to vary wildly, and sometimes it crashes even before step
6. I also see signs of heap corruption, e.g. it crashed at least once inside
HEAP_MakeInUseBlockFree().
