Well, I originally opened the bug, and I don't see the original problem. I
didn't install anything with winetricks. I tried with wine-2.19 (oldest I
have), and it also didn't show the original problem.

Given that I can't reproduce, I marked it fixed.

That may be partially my fault for not describing the original bug well enough,
I guess. I'll mark it abandoned instead, feel free to repurpose or open your
own bug about it, if you want.
