Demo files showing the problem

I think running Wine as root is NOT a valid solution or even workaround.

Any chance to get some feedback from Wine developers on this issue? As the EXE
files in question work without problem on Windows I suspect that this is a bug
in Wine.

I also tested Wine 5.18 and it suffers from the same problem.

Attached please find a demo case of a simple

print("Hello World")

Python program bundled by PyInstaller into an EXE that doesn't work on Wine.

Included is also the full debug log file.

I'll be happy to run any test you would like me to do.
