I think this bug is mostly just a duplicate of
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=44893 by this point, since the behavior
can be replicated both in vanilla wine and wine-staging (5.19).

By the way, forgot to mention in the last comment, thank you very much for
looking into this!
