Battle for Wesnoth does not start

Steps to reproduce:
1) $ rm -rf ~/.wine/
2) $ wineboot
3) $ wine ~/Downloads/wesnoth-1.14.14-win32.exe now accept the defaults.
4) $ wine ~/.wine/drive_c/Program\ Files\ \(x86\)/Battle\ for\ Wesnoth\
1.14.14/wesnoth.exe Now the game does not start.
