I also tried out this version and it does work.  The version I actually have
that I have been using in past versions of Wine is 1.3 (that's how long ago I
got the game).  I went ahead and attached a zip file with that version to this
issue if you want to try that one out.  It has an installation program to do
the installation.  

However, if you feel that this issue should be closed since Wine 6.14 works
with the last version of Comet Busters, that's fine too.  I had preferred
version 1.3 of Comet Busters as the graphics were crisper.
