I was not able to recreate this. Made a new prefix with upstream wine-6.14, no
crackling.
Switch to WineHQ provided wine-staging-6.14 (Ubuntu20.04), no crackling.

Any particular place this happens? Did not test this other than running around
briefly in Stormwind, but the report was "Crackles continously", so that would
indicate "all the time"?
