--- Comment #4 from Anastasius Focht <focht at gmx.net> ---
Hello Walter,

I can't reproduce this with Wine 5.x releases. It works fine with Wine 5.0 up
to recent Wine 6.0-rc4.

The installation of .NET Framework 3.5 with any Wine release before Wine 4.20
won't work on modern distros due to:

* bug 47724 (".NET Framework 2.0 SP1/SP2, 3.0 SP1, 3.5 installers fail with
'err:msi:MSI_OpenDatabaseW unknown flag (nil)' ...
'err:msi:msi_apply_patch_package failed' when Wine was built with GCC 9.x/10.x
or MinGW").

Please provide *console* output using a new(!) 32-bit WINEPREFIX and most
recent Wine 5.x release. Provide information about the exact versions,
including 'winetricks'.

Regards
