The validation pane as displayed when running CSS HTML Validator under Wine
5.18 through Wine 5.22. Text is not visible.

The validation pane as displayed when running CSS HTML Validator under Wine
5.18 through Wine 5.22. Curiously, the messages the validation pane contains
are still present, since clicking within the blank pane causes the invisible
message that was clicked to appear in the small right-side window, which is
normal behavior except for the invisibility in the left-side window. It is as
if the text in the validation pane is displayed in a white font on the white
background.
