Reverting 4460cb3377 (after also reverting c1d21f1ae4 and f95a1116084) seems to
fix the problem for me. Daniel, can you please take a look?

Note that to reproduce the problem, you only need `winetricks -q mdac28
dotnet40`. Note also that mdac28 requires a 32-bit prefix.
