Ah, apparently I am not allowed to change status or resolve it as NOTOURBUG.

Anyway, meant to post a link that shows the options mentioned in the comment
above: https://askubuntu.com/a/894914.
That answer has a screenshot of the settings manager and has highlighted
another option, the one that appears to have been the culprit for me is the
first one there in that list.
