Same issue here. 

For anyone attempting to work on this, the benchmark is a free download that
you can grab from here: https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/benchmark/download/

For end users, the author of DXVK has made an entirely separate launcher in
Python that works fine: https://github.com/doitsujin/ffxiv-benchmark-launcher


As a side note, I'm personally concerned that this will cause issues when the
6.0 patch for FFXIV lands in a few months, which is currently wine-compatible
and uses a similar launcher.
