I'm setting this issue as Resolved beucase Wine Staging updated and seem to
have solved this issue. I can install vc_redist normally and the problem with
Sims 4 was solved. I don't know what was the version of winetricks at the time
but right now, the command outputs 20210206 - sha256sum:
fca9fc58fa48951cecf67b8d42aa6b947f90307a08415d9403d2b8913e03a1d7
