I made a winforms update to work around the object[] marshaling failure:

Then it asserted because winforms does something nonsensical, so I pushed
another work-around:
https://github.com/madewokherd/winforms/commit/f2ba6171aef54d8897baba0e0cb2312c15556101

With these changes, the program starts for me.
