yes, I can confirm the behavior you are describing. Depending on the libray -
replacements you choose the software differs - however, you cannot preview what
is meant to be uploaded towards Elster.
Debugging of QT is difficult ... but what I consider possible is to test on a
different openSUSE version ... when 15.3 will be out I can give this a try,
reporting here -> it should come with a different QT - library.
By the way, the window of death shows even without adding
"MESA_GL_VERSION_OVERRIDE=3.0" over here and it behaves as you describe - there
are no yes / no boxes but you can click on the cross in the upper right order
causing the application to die as well ...
Thank you for looking into this, in my desperation I was urged to install on M$
and upload from there ... a real shame :-)
