hack to force 5.1 instead of stereo

Probably not any help toward a real solution, but I just started using this
hack to get surround sound working in some FMOD-using games (World of Warcraft,
Star Trek Online, RAGE 2).

I couldn't get them to detect 5.1 surround any other way.
