I'm not sure what you were trying to achieve by running winecfg before
configure, but that probably doesn't matter.

Anyway, you generally should run 'make distclean' in the build tree before
reusing it for a different architecture. You probably have stale 32-bit objects
in it, which is causing that mismatched architecture error.
