I tested Wine Staging 6.22 briefly and went back to 6.20 due to the printing
crashes in 6.22.

I did notice that in 6.22, I can now select a Video resource and there is no
crash. The Video can be seen clearly in the window and I can click the Play
button.

The video does not play when the play button is clicked - but there are no
crashes
