DRAFT: Always prefer synchronous I/O in nonblocking mode

Wait! 
I have double-checked if there were any changes in server/sock.c file as
described in https://gitlab.winehq.org/wine/wine/-/merge_requests/617.
They were NOT applied.
So I grabbed the diff code (attached) and applied it.

And now - it works!
