I experienced the bug still in 7.2 also on the latest 510 Nvidia driver on arch
repo. Matts patch is no longer functional due to multiple changes in the
relevant files. I've uploaded an update of his patch at frogging-family
community repo where matt uploaded his original patch.

It's still the same patch in practice but the git diff doesn't work because of
the relevant lines being moved around.
