I installed the game and used the GoldToDark tool to convert Gold to the
original version, and then applied TFix 1.27. I was able to play to near
completion without any problems at all, I didn't notice any mouse lag. I
imagine it could be a strange edge case that's causing the lag for you Ben, but
still I think if you posted the messages generated by Wine it could help the
developers to figure out what's going on.
