STO works with wine 7.0 staging but it has some problems on ubuntu 20.04.

When the game downloads new content for missions it may hang on the load screen
between different stages of the mission. If the process is killed and the game
started again it will resume the mission.

It doesn't have problems with content that is already downloaded. Also the
launcher hangs when updating the game and needs to be restarted several times
to finish the update
