Ok, maybe it's a hardware (CPU) related bug. 
I'm pretty sure that on vanilla 7.12 it's working. I use packages from
https://wiki.winehq.org/Fedora. I even compiled current master branch myself
and it's working too. That's why I cannot do a regression test and doing it on
a staging fork seems like a mission impossible.
