I checked the Windows Steam client, the same error occurs there as well
I also screen recorded using OBS running the game via the steam client
to show how it looks:

my hunch is that the error occurs because of the anti-cheat software and it
just kicks you out of the game or anything, but idk how to check this
assumption since I'm now well versed enough in debugging wine applications
