Still there with wine-7.1.

The Sims: Complete Collection works, so maybe one could try to find the problem
by comparing these two versions?

Is there any way I could drive the development of a fix? Unfortunately, I have
none of the necessary experience…

GPU: AMD Radeon RX 5700
graphics driver: AMDgpu
