In reply, I am attempting to provide you the information you requested to the
best of my understanding of what you want. The attachment, wine prefixes shows
the file explorer view of all my wine prefixes.

So after installing wine onto my system including winetricks my first command
is:
WINEARCH=win32 WINEPREFIX=~/.wine winecfg (windows 7).

Now I want to install this DTS program:
WINEARCH=win32 WINEPREFIX=~/.winedts winecfg (windows 7)
I then run:
WINEPREFIX=~/.winedts winetricks > Select the default wineprefix > Run
Uninstaller (see the attachment, wine install). I click on the install button
(top right), navigate to the DTS installation executable and click open which
starts program installation. Please note this gives identical results to
installing via the terminal, it's just much faster.

I know DTS requires Java so I repeat the last step to install Java.

At this point DTS will not run. To make it run I need to install Java (and
change theme to no-theme) into the prefix ~/.wine.

To start DTS I use a quick lancher, the details are in the attachment quick
launcher, though again it gives the same results as using the terminal: wine
dtshd.exe command.
