Still occurs in wine 7.4.

To reproduce, download the free CLI program EAC3To:
http://madshi.net/eac3to.zip and fire it up. For ease grab an audio file to
process, preferable a stereo or 6 channel wav file. Enter this command: eac3to
[source file].wav [destination file].wavs

This will split your multi channel wav file into files containing each channel.
So if the source is stereo you will get 2 new files, if it is 5.1 you will get
6 new files.
example: eac3to c:\folder1\music.ac3 c:\folder2\music.wavs
