well, maybe crash wasn't the correct term to use
but the game just freezes and gets stuck for 1-2 minutes. the audio keeps
playing, but you can't control anything and the screen is frozen.
and then the game just forces quit on you and closes, there is no indicator
like a page fault or segmentation fault or anything like that, not even an
error code from the game itself.
