strange msvcrt crash

Msvcrt includes command line parsing to give apps argc and argv -  the
current builtin handling in dlls/msvcrt/data.c is probably the cause of your
problem :

  while (1)
    if ((cmdline[end]==' ') || (cmdline[end]=='\0'))
      if (cmdline[end]=='\0')
