step-by-step is like this:
1) make sure you are NOT root
2) extract the archive to a directory (/wine-date is
what i use) date is the day for that cvs version
3) cd to /wine-date and type ./tools/wineinstall
4) answer any questions the installer may have
5) after it is finished, find the config file created
by the wine installer (i think it is in /usr/lib/wine
but not 100%) and edit it to match your system
(instructions are in the file itself)
6) when you save it, save it to ~/.wine/config
7) run wine --winver win98 sol.exe (replace sol.exe
with the path to your version of windows solitaire)
and have fun...
