Winsocket hanging

Hallo,

some application (jtagserver.exe from Altera Quartus) hangs in Winsock.

Is this hang expected? More debug information needed?

One problem is, that the installer hanged, and I exported only the directory
tree from an NT vmware install. As sophisticated NT functionality is used in
NT mode (e.g. LockServiceDatabase) I ran with win95 mode in wine.
