It may not matter too much how IP-oriented businesses feel
about the issue, since (according to many prognosticators)
the future is in services.

I feel quite certain the LGPL sets up a framework which will
result in increased contributions to the Wine project, and
maximizes the likelihood of a vibrant Wine community
and happy Wine users.
