Just looking at the patch a bit. This looks wrong to me. If you want to
make the changes, you should convert return xxx() into { xxx(); return }

> - return PathStripPathA(lpszPath);
> + PathStripPathW(lpszPath);

This pattern is repeated several times.

I found out that "pro" means "instead of" (as in proconsul). Now I know
what proactive means.
