argh!  cut-and-paste is the culprit.  this is (another reason) why I 
hate inlining patches... just too freakin' sloppy...  anyhow, it's easy 
enough to fix, just knock out the part between "cop" and "y of".

And it's not especially important for anyone to apply anyhow; just 
wanted to get some feedback on the general structure of this.
