This patch

breaks the decompression system used by lots of microsoft software, a screenshot
is attached.
This breaks the installer of the word 97 viewer, and probably of all office
viewers, and it may affect dcom and the installer of other Windows components or
Microsoft software. This
should be fixed before the next release.
The CVS regression testing was done with the word viewer available at
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=9bbb9e60-e4f3-436d-a5a7-da0e5431e5c1&DisplayLang=en
