FALSE returned by ShowWindow doesn't mean a failure. ShowWindow returns
previous visibility status, and FALSE means that a window was invisible.

I bought russian translation of the book in 1995. Original book was
published in 1993 by Addison-Wesley, ISBN 0-201-62217-3.
