Missing fonts

I think I have the same problem since arround wine 0.9.9.  I am trying 
to use Derive 6.10.

The text in the input field is not displayed correctly any more.  But in 
the textarea it gets displayed correct again.

Sadly I do not have the time to investigate this at the moment.

I do have fontforge installed:
# rpm -qa | grep fontforge
fontforge-20050803-2
