DirectDraw Issues continue

It's 'command &> file' to take both the STDOUT and STDERR into a file.
seems a bit messy to do 'command > file 2> &1'.

I'll work with Imperialism II first, it's my second favourite game
after Imperialism II but I think it'll be easier to fix.
