To my surprise, I was able to verify a Wine bugfix today even though I'm in a hotel room with a Windows-only laptop. cygwin's X server worked like a champ, and I was able to ssh into my development box, git pull, build, and install and run a windows app fine remotely. It was just a bit slow, but I'm not complaining!
