Gates of Skeldal - d3d problem ?

Hi!
  A classic Czech RPG game, Gates of Skeldal, has been released for free
download.
  I've tried the game for my children, but it seems to have a problem in wine.
  Installation is perfect. Running the game basically works, intro video plays
well, but then the problem occurs. Starting the game causes that every mouse
move or other activity quickly swaps forth and back the correct window contents
with a previous one, which should not be displayed anymore (like the in-game
window and  main menu window). Not all the window is always swapped, sometimes
just some areas flash forth/back. To be even worse, the mouse pointer is not
properly erased, so the window begins filled with its traces. After a while,
the window is totally garbled and playing is impossible.

Synchronously with this problem, the wine console starts to be flooded with
the following message:

Is it possible that this fixme refers to the real cause or the problem, or
are these messages just harmless, not related to the problem ?

Tested on a today's git.
The game can be freely downloaded (cca 188 MB) there (it is in Czech, but the
menu is easy and anybody can find how to control the game):
