Extra information is that the crash is caused by IE6 attempting to
load Flash content.

Vanilla Steam installs aren't effected so use the new winetricks steam verb.

Workaround is to remove Flash:
http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/uninstall_flash_player.exe
