However, Johannes' change is presumably different, as he wants to

I'd appreciate if Johannes would open a bug report and attach some WINEDEBUG=+midi,+mmdevapi,+alsa,+winmm,+driver,+tid,+timestamp logs to bugzilla,

Having some logs with *complete* SysEx contents helps.
