We de facto have this setup already. Henri acks patches and Alexandre
commits them. Maybe Alexandre spends 5 hours to read every patch Henri
acks, but I don't think so.

One reason why Alexandre wants to be the only committer is tests. They
may run successfully on my and Henri's machine but break on his. Then
he has to run after whoever wrote the patch and whoever committed it
to get the tests running again. Thus I suspect additional committers
would increase Alexandre's workload rather than reduce it, especially
in the highly platform dependent 3D area.
